About Us
Our names are Nancy Rodriguez and Scarlett Flores, we are postpartum doula (PPD) and newborn care specialist (NCS). We both have two beautiful sons. Nancy’s sons are Emerson (age 20) and Diego (age 16). Scarlett’s sons are Geovanni (age 30) and Raymond (age 24). We reside in sunny Southern California, where we have created our postpartum & newborn care business, The Dream Team Doulas & Newborn Care Services.

Scarlett has 26 years of experience and Nancy has 16 years of experience supporting families. Discovering the postpartum doula was an eye opening for us.
We knew women needed and deserved this type of support after giving birth, and that it was an essential part of helping reduce instances of depression and could also help families feel more confident and empowered in their journey.
We have a caring heart, and a deep responsibility and commitment to providing excellent support to our clients during their parenthood journeys.
We are happy to work for local families but we’re also available to travel and take on short 24/7 contracts. We are up to date on our vaccines and we’re CPR certified.
It would be a pleasure to support you as you bring your little one into this world.
Experience
Nancy and Scarlett has taken several postpartum and newborn care trainings to more fully support their clientele, They’re also a trained placenta encapsulation specialist through PBiU, Postpartum Doula through CAPPA, Sleeptraining Coach, Lactaction Educator through CAPPA and Belly Binding/Traditional postpartum recovery with Valerie Lynn, Mayan ancestral massage with Midwife Rafaela Can Ake, Mary Canche Can and Cinthia Canche Can, rebozo massage with Belem Becerra, aromatherapist and Hypnotherapist through Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy.
Over the past years, we have learned so much and grown from all the experiences we’ve had working for a diverse array of families, each with their own set of needs and goals.
Our experiences range widely: singletons, twins, premature infants, sleep training, surrogacy, adoption, breastfeeding and feeding support, babies with colic, moms with postpartum mood disorders, sibling/baby integration, and much more.
